This use to be my favorite holiday after Thanksgiving. Celebrate American triumph over the English King. Barbecue, warm weather, fireflies and freedom. I don’t feel that way anymore. Today the City of Miami postponed the mayoral election until next year. A sign of things to come I am afraid. Be strong, fight the power.
