I have been involved in the graphic communications industry for over 30 years. I am an award winning Photographer who has worked in nuclear power plants, in steel mills, on movie locations and in a variety of studios. I have also worked as a photography educator at the Ivy School of Art in Pittsburgh and as an adjunct instructor at the Rochester Institute of Technology . I have developed programs for Xerox, Canon, Pantone and other clients. I have also worked as a Technical and Marketing Manager for USA, Belgium and Japanese vendors supplying the graphic communication industries.
Richard, inspired to review your work and express my admiration. Tried an out of date e-address. Interesting to note that both you and Sally had a Zappa connection. Nicely done.

Hi Richard,
Thanks for following my posts.
Just wondering..are you related to the Burkes of Galway?
Look forward to seeing more of your work in 2014.
No, it’s an Ellis Island name, my father changed it from Buchkovsky in the 1930’s so he could get hotel rooms when he traveled as a salesman back them.
Very enterprising of him! Oh well, just wondered..

Richard, I was at the One World Festival of Music in 1972. I would love to see more pictures from that concert!
It was a fund day! I wish I had more pictures, it was my first concert with my new camera and only had a 50mm lens so I don’t have many images. Sorry, but thanks for taking time to comment.
