This image was exhibited in the Carnegie Museum in 1977 as part of the Associated Artists Annual Exhibition. It is an image illustrating the speed of the Thunderbolt Roller Coaster.

The Thunderbolt
Today, anybody with Photoshop can make this image. It was not so easy in 1976. I studied the technique of Jerry Uelsmann and after a number of failures made this in my Darkroom using the dodging and burning techniques perfected by Uelsmann. This won first place at the Indiana University Invitational New Artist Exhibition in 1976 and later hung in Carnegie Museum as part of an Associated Artists of Pittsburgh exhibition.
