Outside of Palm Springs California is a park called Indian Canyons. There are a number of trails but the most popular is the Palm Canyon trail which is 15 miles long. A natural spring creates a swath of palms and other greenery in the rough rock canyon and desert terrain. You can see other images from the California desert like Joshua Tree at my commercial gallery.
