Guess What It’s Doing Outside?

In a post from last week I said that every time it snowed I was going to post a beach picture. I am sick of winter which is something I am never fond of anyhow. People say, well why don’t you move to Florida? Because I don’t want to live in Florida! So next year we plan to become something that anyone who lives in Florida, or Arizona despises. Yes we will become the dreaded Snowbirds! This image is of Honokohau Bay where there is a stony beach but one of the best places to snorkel with the Hono or giant sea turtles. At first I was scared to snorkel with them but they are gentle and don’t bite…at least I think they don’t. You can buy a print of this image and see others at my commercial gallery by clicking here.

Rock Stacking on Maui

We first came across this spot while driving to Honukua bay to snorkel with the giant Honu or sea turtles. There were literally hundreds of these rock stacks looking over the Pacific ocean. We convinced ourselves that it must be some sort of old Hawaiian religious ritual. We also noticed them on Haleakala and other places on the island. I did some research and they have nothing to do with Hawaii. Apparently people do this all over the world and since then I have noticed them in other places at well. This just proves that all people are creative and the human mind provides endless ways for us to exhibit our creativity. You can see more images from Maui at my commercial gallery by clicking here.
