I found this unremarkable color image in my archive and decided it would look better in selective color. As the sun set it caused the buildings to light up as if a golden spotlight was shining on them.

Lincoln Park is an upscale neighborhood of Chicago and has a strong German heritage and European feel. From a rooftop you can get a feel of how spread out the City is. Even at two miles from downtown Chicago with an 18mm Wide Angle lens it is difficult to capture the entire skyline. This is Chicago from a rooftop terrace.

Crawling under the Cloud Gate (The Bean) in Chicago provides and interesting distorted view of the sculpture and the Chicago Skyline. The Bean is the centerpiece of Millennium Park in the Chicago Loop. You can see others and buy a print of this one at my commercial gallery.
