Sweet Home Chicago

Last weekend my daughter was married at The Palmer House in the great American city of Chicago. I love living in the country. The beautiful vistas, dark skies and plentiful wildlife are wonderful. However, I miss the “juice” of being in the city. You don’t see something like this in the wilderness.

Wet Bottom Dinning

I said yesterday, the Endless Pool was a wonderful resort perk. I also love the swim up bar. It’s great to sit at the bar and suck down a Pina Colada or stroll through the pool drink in hand. However in my opinion the greatness of this idea to me is ruined by people sitting in their bathing suits munching on Tacos or Burgers. I can’t fathom it. I mean the pool is great but for gosh sakes take a couple of minutes, get out of the sun and have a great lunch and keep your french fries outta my pool!

A Windmill in Paris

If someone would have told me there was a windmill in the center of Paris, I would have doubted them. Silly me because as we climbed the hill on Montmartre, there it was. Larger than life and looking more French than Dutch. It is right behind the Moulin Cafe and near the Basilica. You can buy a print of this image of my commercial site by clicking here.

A Quiet Street in Milano

Milan is the commercial center of Italy and a bustling busy city. Some say that it is to Italy as New York is to the United States. It is the center of government, finance and fashion. However, people have to live somewhere and throughout the city there are quiet little streets like this one. These are residential enclaves where people can live their lives away from the busy city center. You can buy a print of this image at my commercial gallery by clicking here.
