Absecon is a city within Atlantic City New Jersey. This is not as unusual as it may seem. Beverly Hills,Burbank and Paradise Nevada are just a few of the many cities within cities. It was first incorporated in 1862 as a New Jersey town. The lighthouse is older than the town and was first lit in 1857. I drove a blue chair there when I was a teen and manage to go back every couple of years.
