A Moment of Hope #7

We are living in some scary times right now. I am old and have lived through others but this one is somehow different and maybe more frightening. So until it is over each day I plan to post an image that provides calmness and a moment of zen. We all need a lot of moments like these right now.

Pittsburgh has a number of beautiful spring days. If you have a garden enjoy it, maintain it. If you don’t have a garden now is a perfect chance to plant one.

Spring Brings Hope and Joy

Social Distancing Around Pittsburgh April 3, 2020

Yesterday was a beautiful day so we broke quarantine and drove around the empty city. It was around lunchtime. The streets were empty, The Schenely oval only had one man walking his dog and a few walking on the track. I could walk down the center of Forbes Street in Squirrel Hill…at lunchtime! All in all people seem to be taking it seriously.

I look to nature for relaxation and solace. Even when this pond is still if you pause and listen you can hear the life and life always brings hope. Photographed at Lettuce Lake in Tampa Florida.

I am a spiritual but not religious person. Dogma is not my thing. However religion gives many people hope and to not allow people to attend services must add an additional level of anxiety. So I am pleased to see that most religious services are available online.
