I love the way shore birds seem to rise up to greet the rising sun. At the beach in Atlantic City there are mostly gulls but hearing them call out to the morning sun is a great way to start any day and is soothing to the soul. You c see other images and buy prints at my commercial site.
This is the current end of the Boardwalk in Atlantic City just beyond the Revel Resort. The Boardwalk is one of the best walking/running experiences a person can have. It is even and flat and not made of concrete and it goes on for miles. Your knees don’t hurt when you are done like they might after concrete. Thos was take moments after sunrise. When you get up to take pictures of a sunrise you typically don’t see too many people. Of course as I passed the casino at Revel there were still people gambling and the hotel security people were posted at their stations trying to stay awake. On the boardwalk there was only this bike rider and me enjoying the morning spectacular. You can buy a print of this image at my commercial gallery.
Boardwalk Bike Ride
The pool and Spa area at the Revel Resort in Atlantic City New Jersey are world class. This is the outdoor pool in the Winter but it is heated so you can swim out into the cold air and then back inside to steamy warmth. The Spa has coed whirlpools and salt rooms and great steam,sauna and jacuzzis in the club house. The spa treatments we had were first class in everyday. Most people think you are nuts if you tell them you are going to Atlantic City for Christmas. Not too crazy for a non-Christian though. The Revel Resort offered a fantastic Ocean Front room, great restaurants, a world class spa and what better place to see a Sunrise than Atlantic City?
