The Soft Underbelly of Clearwater Beach

Clearwater Beach is probably one of the best beaches in the USA. Broad expanses of white sand manicured daily by an attentive staff. Beautiful sunsets complete with pirate ships, strolling families and flocks of sea birds.

However as large high rise condos are built the views of the small mom and pop motels that have been there for years are destroyed. This makes it hard for them to survive and some have fallen in to disrepair creating scenes like this.

Clearwater Beach is known for fantastic sunsets. It is also probably one of the few places in the world where you can see a pirate galleon in front of the setting sun.

I have always been fascinated by watching male behavior around women. Unlike me, most men will not glance at an attractive woman if there is any chance they will be caught ogling. They will suck in their guts until they pass out but not venture a glance. I on the other hand just don’t give a damn.

Maybe when I was younger I would have tried this. Now you couldn’t pay me enough to do it. In addition to these kind of tow by boat gliding experiences you can also see real parasailers floating high in the clouds with the birds.
