Every summer we have special visitors as the hummingbirds fly up from the south to visit. They seem to love red flowers the best so we plant flowers specifically to attract them. Summer Hummingbirds
As a child you learn that the wind is an invisible and powerful force. As you grow, you begin to learn how to see the wind through the movement of objects. When sand blow i your face at the beach it is the wind, when the trees rustle in the forrest it is because of wind. You can see the winds aloft by looking at clouds and ripples in the water cause by summer breezes. Wind is also the friend or enemy of fire firefighters. Seeing the Wind
Shadow and Tilly going for a swim on a hot summer day in the Pocono Mountains. These two are best friends and both dogs are ball hawks. They also try to trick each other so they can get to the ball first. This is better entertainment than almost anything and remember anything a do g can do you can watch. Swim Fans
Nothing means summer more to me than seeing sunflowers in bloom. Sunflowers are right up there with boston coolers, watermelon and ball games. These are Canadian sunflowers that I captured wile visiting the Jardin botanique de Montréal which is a wonderful place to visit while in Montréal. Sunny Summer Sunflowers
Summer is the hottest time of the year but made a whole lot hotter by people. Think of all the things you do in the Summer that involve lighting a flame.
