Some of the most wonderful “art” in the world is stuff you just find walking around. There is no artist signature, no gallery lighting or people walking around going “hmm” while they touch their chin. This is an ornamental design integrated into a wrought iron gate found near Cancún in the Mexican province of Quintana Roo.

The Village of Biot

Biot is a medieval village in the hills of Provence between Antibes and Nice. It is what you would expect of a Village in Provence. Narrow ancient streets, historic ruins and great little cafes and restaurants. What makes Biot unusual is the ancient glass works that have been there for centuries. You can visit the glass works and see today’s craftsmen blow glass works of art in the same way they have done for centuries. You can also spend as much money as you want in the shop. Of course even the town street map is made from ceramic glass.

Sunrise Reflections

The Revel Beach Resort in Atlantic City New Jersey uses a lot of chrome and reflective surfaces in their interior design. The interior design of this Hotel is phenomenal but they also extended it outside to the valet parking area. This is a reflection at sunrise in a chrome pillar outside the hotel.
