Americans visiting Europe will talk about how much they like exploring the old culture of Europe. Europeans coming to the USA visit New York, Boston, San Francisco and Chicago and talk about how young our culture is. I wonder how many Europeans come to the United States and visit our ancient culture which is the Native American culture of the Southwestern United States. The Pecos National Historic Park in New Mexico is one of these places of ancient American culture that dates back to before the birth of Christ and a true wonder. It is only a short drive from Santa Fe New Mexico and should not be missed if planning a visit to that area. This is a photograph of one of the ancient ruins and you can purchase a print on my commercial gallery by clicking here.

Good Night Kiss
Paris is the City of Lights and nighttime seems to be a social lubricant for kissing. As I am working on my book, I also realize that night time kisses in public are harder to capture. You can’t see as far and can’t use your flash so patience is a key. This shot was taken in Paris in 2011 and you can purchase a print by clicking here.
Horsing Around in Montreal
One of the best ways to see Montreal is to take a carriage ride. It is also the easiest way since Montreal is a city of hills and essentially built on a mountain. Each ride comes with unique point of view on the city offered by the driver of the carriage. You can buy a print of this image on my commercial site by clicking here.
Firenze Italia
Italy has a lot of beautiful cities but Firenze (Florence) is certainly one of the best jewels on the necklace. What makes it so special is it’s location in the mountains along the Arno river and its history of being the centre of Italian culture for so long. When your city can boast bridges built by Michelangelo, you know it is special. This is a view of the city from a park just outside taken during a brief rain shower. Parish Church in Montmartre
Many people may hustle right by this beautiful old church on their way to see the The Basilique Sacré-Coeur. This beautiful historic building is near the Abbesses Metro Stop in Montmartre. It is a very accessible church unlike some of the Cathedrals in Paris. There is no list of rules, just come on in, take pictures, pray, sit in solitude in an ancient building without hordes of tourists take pictures on their phones. Passionate Kiss
Last week’s post (Bienvenue a Paris) received a lot of view and comments. What actually caused the young man to stick his face in my camera was the fact that he saw me taking this picture which will certainly be a part of my new book. You can buy a print o this image ay my commercial gallery by clicking here.
Naked Lunch
Inspired by William S. Burroughs, I took a series of images using only a 35 MM slide projector for lighting. You can see another even more provocative image of this series by clicking here.. Trish Begley was the model and she need to hold very still and exhibit complete patience during this shoot. You can buy a print of this image at my commercial gallery by clicking here.
Street Kiss
This is another candidate for my book project. This kiss was captured near the Champs-Élysées in Paris France on a warm summer evening. You can buy a print of this image at my commercial gallery by clicking here.
