Bodies in Motion Redux

A number of years ago I made a video entitled Bodies In Motion. I didn’t like it. So I remade it a while back and never published it. Hope you find it entertaining. The only video I ever did creating most of the sound track in Garage Band.

Inside Out In Regent Square

Today we had one of the largest snowfalls we have had in years. Over nine inches. The visual difference between the inside of our house and the outside is pretty extreme.

Thinking About The National Aviary

Since returning to Pittsburgh we have been members of the National Aviary. It’s the largest Aviary in The United States and we are fortunate to have it in Pittsburgh. We go there often enough that I have my favorite birds and during this horrible pandemic I frequently wonder how they are doing. I can’t wait until we can venture out and visit again.

Missing the Phipps Conservatory

I am reading a novel by Stewart O’Nan entitled Emily Alone. The author is from Pittsburgh and his descriptions of our city are really accurate. The chapter I am reading today is about The Phipps Conservatory and he made me realize how much I miss going there. We are members and normally we visit three or four times a year. Not his year though, hopefully we will be able to go next year.

Tapas Barcelona Style

I have posted some images of Barcelona. The art of Antoni Gaud, the sculpture and architecture are all magnificent. The city is electric, alive and vibrant as are the people. However, one of the great things I loved about the city was the Tapas restaurants.

The first place we went to was El Nacional which was recommend by a friend. It is actually a collection of restaurants which we visited twice. Quite honestly you eat there every night it was that good. However, one of my favorites was Xistorrā a small tapas only restaurant also pictured here.

Thinking of Mexican Sunsets

For the last few years we have traveled to warm places in the winter. Mexico, Florida and California have been our winter destinations. This year travel is not possible due to COVID-19 and the snow today has got me thinking about Mexican sunsets/
