I have had a wonderful life so far and over the years photographed a lot of people. However, my favorite model has always been my wonderful bride. This year we celebrate our 42nd year of marriage and we are still happy and in love. Isn’t that the way it is supposed to work? This is her in the early 1970’s near Philadelphia Pennsylvania. L’ Europe Roulante Videograph
The famous film director Robert Altman was once asked why all of his movies had at least one murder. He said, and I paraphrase, “…you don’t have to too much of a plot if you have at least one murder scene.” So here it is once again, my 8 minute epic videograph of Europe and make sure you wait for the murder scene! World’s Coolest Elevator
If you travel a lot and live long enough you will see some cool elevators. Glass elevators with glass floors, elevators on the outside of buildings are some of the most fun rides. However, the open air elevator at the Louvre has got to be the coolest. It is too small to be practical and doesn’t serve well as a people mover but it is fun to watch and ride. Pinching the Tower
I first noticed people doing this years ago in New York city. People all over the world try to get a unique perspective on a monument or palace by pinching it. If the angle is right, one can create a unique perspective or comical picture. One of the most famous is people pushing or leaning against the Leaning Tower of Pisa. I don’t think these people got it right, they are too close to the Eiffel Tower, but they sure look like they had fun trying. This was shot across the river from the tower atTrocadero Plaza. Get Well
Last week my lovely bride of 41 years took a fall and got a fracture in her shoulder. She is in a sling for four to six weeks and it is a royal pain in the ass for her and a little for me. Anyhow. my daughter lives in Chicago with her great boyfriend and his parents sent my wife these flowers. They are good people, we have dined with them and visited their house and really like the whole family, but hell even I didn’t get my wife flowers! The assortment was so nice (good job local florist) I just had to share it. You can see other images from my nature collection by clicking here.

Sunday at the Park
Paris is like any other major city, things slow down on Sunday. In the summer people have a lot of Parks to choose from in Paris. Parc Monceau,Jardin des Tuileries and Jardin du Palais Royal are some of the better known spots. However, my favorite is the Jardin du Luxembourg adjacent to Luxembourg Palace which is the center of the French Government. It is very large with many different spaces and you can see lovers kissing, joggers jogging and some of the most beautiful gardens in the world. This image sums up Sunday in Paris to me. Almost a Kiss
Here is another one from my “Kiss” series and another candidate for my future book. This was taken outside a Cafe on the Trocadéro Plaza in Paris France. Does it qualify as a Kiss or is just a near miss? You can buy a print of this image and see others at my European Gallery by clicking here.
